Proofreading & Editing

Book on Table

Mistakes are common. You can read through a text ten times and still not spot the most obvious omissions or punctuation errors. That's because your eyes read what they know you want to see.

This can be dangerous for your reputation, both personal and professional. As a native English language professional, I have a keen eye for detail. I offer proofreading and editing services, brand guideline creation and tone of voice guides.

What's the difference between proofreading and editing?

Proofreading – Last chance saloon before you publish your book. Checks for: typos, spelling mistakes, grammar, layout.

Editing – A line-by-line edit of your book. Checks for: flow, clarity, facts, repetitions, style.

Let's not let an 'erorr' get in the way of great content!

"Just read through your corrections and comments re the end bit and I am so pleased with how this is turning out!! ... You pick up on my little errors, omissions, inconsistencies, etc. as well as any funny sounding sentences that I would have great difficulty getting right.
This really, really works for me.  Hope you enjoyed it too."
